How Much Wine Will You Need?
We recommend slightly over-catering — any leftovers can start your home cellar! On average:
- About 50% of guests drink wine, 30% prefer beer, 20% mix.
- A 750ml bottle = ~5 glasses.
- Estimate 6 drinks per guest for a 5-hour reception.
- For example: 100 guests x 6 drinks x 50% wine = ~60 bottles (~5 cases).
- A good mix: 3 cases of white, 3 cases of red, and 1–2 cases of sparkling.
